Not So Basic Chia Pudding

By now, I assume we all know the benefits of chia, the superfood. But let me remind you again:

-Chia seeds are loaded with massive amounts of nutrients and very little calories (win, win hahhh?)

-They are considered the best fiber source in the world. What does this mean for you? It means that because of chia seeds’ high soluble fiber content it absorbs 10 times their water weight, becoming gel like, expanding in your belly and keeping you full for a very long periods of time.

-These friendly seeds are loaded with antioxidants and proteins.

Should I keep going or jump to the recipe?

Ok, here is the exact measurements for the perfect pudding like consistency:

1 unit of chia seeds mixed with 4 units of coconut vanilla milk. So, you can think like 1/4 cup of chia to 1 cup of milk. Mix them up in a cute glass jar (so it’s aesthetically pleasing) and put it in the refrigerator for a minimum of 3 hours. That’s it. Really! Once it’s ready you can mix it up with your favorite berries, or with cinnamon and walnut, or with flavored coconut yogurt. Trust me, it has a very satisfying taste and will keep you full for hours.

Try it now, and thank me later

Xoxo, Irem
