LENTIL CHIPS RECIPE

WHAT YOU NEED

  • 1cup of red lentil
  • Boiling water
  • Olive Oil
  • Cumin
  • Crushed Red Pepper
  • Oregano
  • Garlic Powder
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Blender/ food processor

HOW TO MAKE IT?

Put your red lentils in a cup and cover them with boiling water.  The water level should be around 1” above the lentils.  Wait for like 30mins-1 hr until the lentils soak in.  Then add the soaked lentils, and all the other ingredients in the food processor and puree’ them until they have a paste consistency.  Then spread the paste on a tray covered with parchement paper.  Your oven should be pre-heated to 375’F.  Put your tray in the oven for like 15-20 mins.  At this point take them out and cut the lentil paste into little squares (this makes them more crispy) and put it back into the oven for another 6-8 mins.  Take it out and TAAAA-DAAAAAA.  Yes!  It’s that easy, and sooo healthy.  Full of protein, and fiber.  Nice filling chips homemade with love.
