To be honest it took me couple of tries to get this recipe perfected. Now, I am really proud of it. I never made real brownies (and probably I will never make them ever), so I can not compare, but these were so quick and easy to make. I could not believe how good these taste and smell.
What you need:
- 3 Eggs
- 2 Bananas
- 12 Dates
- 1 TSpoon Honey (I used Manuka Honey but regular honey is totally fine)
- 3 TbSpoon of Water
- 6 TbSpoon Organic Cacao Powder
- 4 TbSpoon Almond Flour
- 2 TSpoon Vanilla Extract
- 2 TSpoon Baking Powder
- If you would like you can sprinkle it with some walnuts or hazelnuts
Preheat your oven to 350’F. First, put all the dates in the food processor and make them like a paste. Then, add all the remaining ingredients in the food processor. Spread your mixture on a parchment paper, in a pan. I used 10’x10′ pan. At this point you can decorate your brownie with some chopped walnuts or hazelnuts. Put it in the oven for about 20-25 mins. Once it starts smelling like melted chocolates and starts looking like a gorgeous brownie take it out and wait for it to cool down before cutting it. That’s it. It doesn’t get easier than this. I calculated the caloric amount. Whole thing is 1240 calories and it makes 16 squares of brownies. So each square is about 78cal. And it doesn’t give you heart burn or guilt eating them.
